Valley Village

Although the community of Valley Village has been around since 1939, it gradually melded into North Hollywood over the years. In the mid-'80s, as highrise growth increased, residents formed the Valley Village Homeowners Association. In 1991, at their request, the LA City Council recognized the area as a separate community. Residents love the Norman Rockwell flavor of the town, whose neighborhoods consist mostly of comfortably sized single story Spanish- and ranch-style homes. The Association is committed to preserving that flavor.
